What to Look For in a Hair Color

Choosing the right hair color is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. Here are five things to keep in mind when choosing a new hair color:

1. Choose a color that will look good on you. Don't be afraid to experiment with different colors until you find one that looks great on your skin and suits your style.

2. Match your hair coloring to your natural hair color. If you have dark hair, go for a light hair color or vice versa. You don't want to cover up all of your natural highlights or darkness with a new hair color.

3.Avoid drastic changes in your hair color. A change from light brown to jet black is a big change, and can be difficult to maintain over time. Make smaller changes instead, such as adding an extra coat of dye to light brown hair to create a richer hue or using highlights to brighten up darker locks without going overboard with the bleach.

4. Consider the effect of sunlight on your new hair color. Some colors will fade more quickly in the sun than others, so it's important to choose a shade that won't be too washed out by the sun once it's out in public.

5.Be realistic about how long your new hair color will last before it needs another touchup. Most colors only last between four and six months before they start showing signs of fading again, so keep that in mind when deciding which color to choose.
